Teen Life
One moment to the next
Life goes on.
But it hurts us every now and again,
And leaves us feeling empty inside.
When a moment of peace finally comes,
It sometimes feels like it was one second too late.
Like, if only you were here a minute ago,
I would have made it.
This is the moment when we have to choose to fight
For more peaceful times in our life.
The hard, the bad, the difficult times
aren't what is important.
What is important is that, through them,
we remember ourselves
and the moments of peace that will surely come.
